The investment covers the construction of 1.58 kilometres of pedestrian infrastructure, 1.26 kilometres of cycle infrastructure and the construction of public passenger transport (three new bus stations), as well as the construction of a new bridge across the Sava River as a single bridge for motorised traffic, pedestrians and cyclists. As part of the project, the municipality will use the EU funding to arrange public lighting and urban facilities, and for greening the area, setting up supporting and retaining walls along the Savska cesta Road, road drainage, and water supply and telecommunications network.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project Integrated improvement of the Savska cesta Road is part of Slovenia\u2019s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027.
