Ljubljana, 16 June 2025 \u2013 The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for the KALMA project \u2013 Coordination of entry points for long-term care. The contribution of the European Social Fund Plus stands at \u20ac1.56 million.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to support the establishment and coordination of long-term care (LTC) entry points, particularly in terms of the role of information and administrative staff, as well as to network and inform coordinators, service providers, and other key stakeholders in the system. The aim is to provide comprehensive and personalised care and to strengthen the network of services throughout Slovenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The KALMA project will also enhance the competences of the staff at the social work centres, which will contribute to quality, safe and effective user-centred care. The project will also contribute to raising awareness among all stakeholders about long-term care and the contents of the Long-Term Care Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the smooth functioning of the entry points, the project will provide expert support, which is crucial for providing adequate services to beneficiaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beneficiary is the Posavje Social Work Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
