Slovenia is committed to ensuring that all people with disabilities have a greater say, autonomy and choice in where, how and who they want to live with in accordance with the Act on the Equalisation of Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Resolution on the National Social Protection Programme for the Period 2022\u20132030, the Action Programme for Persons with Disabilities 2022-2030 and the Slovenian Strategy for Deinstitutionalisation in Social Protection 2024-2034. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In line with the deinstitutionalization process, which foresees the transition of persons with disabilities from institutions to independent living in the community and the provision of community-based tailored support, the call aims to ensure a range of community-based support services for persons with disabilities while reducing and preventing institutionalisation through the work of multidisciplinary teams. The projects that will be selected under the call will contribute to strengthening equal and timely access to quality, sustainable and affordable social care services by improving support for the shift from care in institutional settings to home-based care.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The call for proposals will be implemented under priority Long-term care and health, and social inclusion of Slovenia\u2019s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. It will pursue specific objective Enhancing the equal and timely access to quality, sustainable and affordable services, including services that promote the access to housing and person-centred care including healthcare. The call will also seek to modernise social protection systems with an emphasis on promoting access to social protection, with a particular focus on children and disadvantaged groups.
