{"id":48749,"date":"2026-07-10T10:25:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T08:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evropskasredstva.si\/media-center\/all-media\/eu-funding-for-pecke-slovenska-bistrica-bicycle-path\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T10:28:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T08:28:48","slug":"eu-funding-for-pecke-slovenska-bistrica-bicycle-path","status":"publish","type":"media_blog","link":"https:\/\/evropskasredstva.si\/en\/media-center\/all-media\/eu-funding-for-pecke-slovenska-bistrica-bicycle-path\/","title":{"rendered":"EU funding for Pe\u010dke-Slovenska Bistrica bicycle path"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-eu-skladi-container-block container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-md-12\"><div class=\"content_outer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project includes constructing a 3-metre-wide, 2.87-kilometre-long bicycle path along the Pe\u010dke-Slovenska Bistrica local road; constructing a footbridge over the Lo\u017enica stream; installing multi-level platforms to allow cyclists to cross the local road and to calm traffic; and installing street lighting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cohesion Fund contribution to the project, with a total value of \u20ac1,826,263.52, stands at \u20ac1,083,215.20. The beneficiary of the funds is the Municipality of Slovenska Bistrica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project builds on previous investments in safe and accessible cycling infrastructure. During the 2014-2020 programming period, under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy, approximately \u20ac132 million in EU funding was invested in constructing more than 500 km of cycling routes. Slovenia\u2019s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 makes more than \u20ac165 million in EU funding available for sustainable mobility.
