The project will receive nearly \u20ac300 thousand from the Cohesion Fund. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investment covers the expansion of the Markovci wastewater treatment plant and increases its capacity to remove pollutants from wastewater. The plant\u2019s capacity will increase by 650 population equivalents, and the wastewater treatment technology will be upgraded from BIOCOS to SBR technology. The project will enhance groundwater protection and improve environmental quality.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is implemented under Slovenia\u2019s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021\u20132027 and is co-financed by the Cohesion Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, worth \u20ac569,575.84, will receive \u20ac293,926.29 from the Cohesion Fund.
