The call for proposals will be supported by the European Union. As part of the call, funding will be available for innovative start-ups, the development of minimum viable products (MVP) and product launch. The call will help start-ups realise their development potentials and commercialise products, processes and services. As a priority, these products, processes and services should focus on areas consistent with the principles of climate neutrality and Slovenian Sustainable Smart Specialisation Strategy (S5).
The call will be open to micro and small enterprises established in Slovenia in either of the two cohesion regions. The enterprises should be organised as a company and engaged in an economic activity as a legal person. This is actually the second call for proposals in the last year that supports innovative start-ups and contributes to successful operation of newly started businesses, helping them increase turnover and added value per employee.
The call for proposals is carried out in the frame of Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, under priority Innovative knowledge-based society, and pursues specific objective Enhancing sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including by productive investments (ERDF).
The call for proposals makes 2,160,000 euros available, of which nearly 1.4 million euros come from the European Regional Development Fund.
The Slovene Enterprise Fund will publish the call, which contributes to the achievement of the objectives set out in Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, on 14 February 2025 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia.
