Ljubljana, 14 August 2025 – The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for the project Slovenj Gradec Community Health Centre Extension.
As part of this EU-co-financed project project, the Urban Municipality of Slovenj Gradec will add an extension to the Slovenj Gradec Community Health Centre. The extension with a total gross floor area of 1,966 square meters will accommodate emergency medical services, health enhancement centre, general medicine, community nursing services, and health programmes for children and adolescents. The investment will deliver modern premises for providing health care in the region of Koroška.
The project will be implemented under priority Sustainable development of local areas of Slovenia’s EU Cohesion policy Programme 2021-2027. It will pursue specific objective Fostering the integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism, and security in urban areas.
The 7-million-euro project will receive nearly 2.7 million euro, more specifically 2,668,880.25 euro, from the European Regional Development Fund.
