Ljubljana, 18 November 2025 – The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) support for the project Curriculum reform – new ways to acquire knowledge, which aims to enhance the quality, inclusiveness, efficiency and relevance of the education and training systems.
The project beneficiary is the National Education Institute.
The EU-funded project will support the acquisition of new competences, including entrepreneurial and digital skills, and promote the introduction of dual training and apprenticeship systems. A total of 15,000 professionals and managers are expected to take part in various career development programmes.
The project’s main aim is to train education and training professionals and managers to effectively use the revised curriculum documents in their work. The project will co-finance the development and implementation of career development programmes for professionals and managers.
The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, within priority 6: Skills and responsive labour market.
The project, valued at € 5.737.500, will receive European Social Fund Plus support of € 3.633.393,75.
