We are happy to announce that the 6th call for proposals under Interreg Euro-MED is open. It is a “Fast Lane” targeted call that seeks to test a model of complete project cycle (study-test-transfer) in which the transition from one phase to the next is based on sound management and quality of results, the project performance being a priority for the Programme since the very beginning. This approach also contributes to the Programme’s Results Amplification Strategy, by capitalising on the most transferable outputs developed by the study and test projects.
The targeted 6th call for proposals concerns exclusively the best Study projects selected in the frame of the 2nd call for project proposals of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme. It allows pre-selected Study projects to potentially become Test projects building on their already achieved results. The existing partnerships may include new partners with the competences needed for each phase (for example, partners with competences on the pilot areas for the test phase). The call will close on 27 February 2026. Further details and the relevant documents are available on the dedicated website of the Programme. Project selection is scheduled for April 2026.
In April, the Test projects pre-selected under the 2nd call for proposals will have the possibility to transition to a Test+Transfer project. The projects wishing to expand to Test and Transfer project will be selected on the basis of two criteria, i.e.: sound management and quality of results. Here as well, the partnership will be adapted, and the inclusion of new “receiver” partners from new geographic areas is expected. More details will follow.
