The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for the project Development of research infrastructure of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana. The €80 million project will receive €32 million from the European Regional Development Fund.
The project will involve the development of new research infrastructure and the provision of appropriate facilities and research equipment to support the activities of Ljubljana-based Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The investment will strengthen scientific research, innovation, and professional activities, while enabling the adjustment of educational processes to contemporary development trends. The newly established infrastructure will strengthen collaboration with domestic and foreign partners, and industry.
