Project “Gateway to Pomurje” has tapped the potential of a degraded area within the Urban Municipality of Murska Sobota and integrated activities into the local environment that are and will continue to be important for the economic and tourism promotion of the Urban Municipality of Murska Sobota as well as the entire Pomurje region. It is located on the shore of the emerging Soboško Jezero lake tourism, sports, and adventure park. The pavilion is designed as a microcosm of the Pomurje region and consists of four main sections: an exhibition, a tourist information centre with a gift shop, a restaurant, and a space designated for business use, which also houses a SPOT point.
