The project aims to reduce water losses in the Trbovlje public water supply system, which serves more than 10,000 residents. As part of the project, 1,375 metres of new water mains will be constructed, including 761 meters of pressure mains and 614 metres of distribution mains.

The project will ensure a more reliable drinking water supply for 11,885 residents in the central part of the Trbovlje water supply system. At the same time, water losses will be reduced, and the system’s hydraulic stability will be improved, contributing to more efficient management of the water supply infrastructure.

The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027.

For the project, with a total value of €1,361,800.64, the Cohesion Fund will contribute €807,500. The beneficiary of the funds is the Municipality of Trbovlje.
