The Ministry of Local Self-Government, Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funding for a project supporting the redevelopment of green spaces in the Municipality of Hajdina. The redevelopment of a 1.7-hectare public space will enhance green infrastructure in the centre of the town, creating a more attractive environment and better opportunities for outdoor recreation. The project will receive €204,000 from the European Regional Development Fund.
The project will include extensive greening measures and the revitalisation of public areas, with the development of rest and leisure zones as well as safer pedestrian spaces along the road corridor. The investment will upgrade and strengthen green infrastructure across 1.7 hectares of public space.
The redevelopment will incorporate climate change adaptation measures, which will help improve living conditions and create a more pleasant living environment.
The €412,835.20 project will be implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027. It will receive €204,000 from the European Regional Development Fund. The beneficiary of the funding will be the Municipality of Hajdina.
