Implementation Plan for Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027

The Implementation Plan translates the content and the budget of Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 by disaggregating the relevant data. It sets out how the set objectives of the programme will be achieved and serves as a basis for the preparation of the state budget. The Implementation Plan is adopted for the entire programming period and encompasses the different ways of operation selection from across the country. It can be modified as often as necessary, but at least before each adoption or amendment of the state budget.
The Implementation Plan is structured around policy objectives, priorities, specific objectives, direct budget users, EU funds, cohesion regions, years, and other elements. The document is adopted by the managing authority.
The Implementation Plan and Cohesion Policy are prepared and planned at the same time. In the context of the state budget, the Implementation Plan defines the commitments, i.e., legal obligations to spend money on certain activities or programmes.
The purpose of the document is to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of Cohesion Policy in Slovenia, setting out the implementation milestones, the schedule, and the achievement of the specific objectives. This multi-year plan contains details on the content and the way of operation selection at the level of an individual specific objective.
