Call for proposals “Competitive and sustainable aquaculture – major investments” launched

Ljubljana, 10 March 2025 – The first call for proposals “Competitive and sustainable aquaculture – major investments” was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No 14/25 on Friday, 7 March 2025.

The activities of the call for proposals will be co-financed by the Programme implementing the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund 2021-2027 (P ESPRA 2021-2027). The documents of the call for proposals are available here.

The call for proposals aims to support investments in the construction of new aquaculture installations and the modernisation of existing aquaculture facilities.

Eligible applicants under the call for proposals “Competitive and sustainable aquaculture – major investments” are legal or natural persons or sole proprietors who have a registered aquaculture activity in the Republic of Slovenia at the time of submitting the application.

A total of 2,500,000 euros is available in grants, with 1,750,000 euros provided by the European Union and 750,000 euros coming from national funds.
