Ljubljana, 1 April 2025 – The first call for proposals for the activity Competitive and sustainable aquaculture – small-scale investments was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia on 28 March 2025.
The activities of the call for proposals will be co-financed by the Programme for the Implementation of the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund in the Republic of Slovenia for the Period 2021-2027. The relevant call documentation is available here.
The call for proposals will support the implementation of projects involving investments in the aquaculture gear for the implementation and modernisation of aquaculture activities.
Beneficiaries of support under this call will be legal or natural persons or sole traders registered as aquaculture establishments engaged in aquaculture production at the time of submission of their application.
The call for proposals makes a total of €575,000 available. The contribution of the European Union amounts to €402,500 and national co-financing stands at €172,500.
