Interreg Alpine Space Programme is celebrating 25 years of successful transnational cooperation in the Alpine region this year. A three-day celebration taking place between 12 and 14 May 2025 in Salzburg will bring together stakeholders from across the Alpine region to mark this important milestone. The event will showcase co-financed transnational cooperation projects and good practices that contributed to the sustainable development of the Alpine region. It will also serve as a unique platform for the discussion on the future of the Alpine region.
Over the three days, participants will engage in discussions on emerging challenges and opportunities of the Alpine region. They will look into success stories and explore the future of transnational cooperation in the Alps. As part of thematic workshops, they will address topical themes such as artificial intelligence, circular economy, climate change and the role of young people in the programme. The last day of the event will include field visits that will take participants on the ground allowing them to see first-hand the implemented local solutions.
As part of the event, the third call for classic projects will be launched. The first stage of the third call will be launched between 13 May and 10 July 2025, and the relevant documentation will be published on the dedicated website of the programme.
Welcome to join us and work together with other stakeholders and the Alpine community to reflect on the vision of a sustainable future for the Alpine region. Do not miss this excellent opportunity to network and co-create the future of the Alpine region.
