Interreg Alpine Space launches third call for classic project proposals

Interreg Alpine Space Programme 2021-2027 has launched the third call for classic project proposals. Classic projects are selected following a two-step procedure. In the first step, applicants need to submit a short version of the application form via JEMS. Promising project proposals are selected and invited to submit the full application form in the second step.

The call makes 27.8 million euros in ERDF funding available for transnational cooperation projects. It aims to co-finance classic projects under thematic priorities 1, 2 and 3 and is limited to the following specific objectives (SO):

  • SO 1.2 – Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution,
  • SO 2.2 – Promoting the transition to a circular and resource efficient economy,
  • SO 3.2 – Reaping the benefits of digitalisation for citizens, companies, research organisations and public authorities.

More details on the call are available on the dedicated Programme website at How to apply – Alpine Space Programme.

The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development that acts as the National Authority for Interreg Programmes in Slovenia will organize a national information day. It will be held live in Ljubljana on 20 May 2025. More details will follow soon.

The deadline for the submission of the short version of the application form is 10 July 2025 at 13:00.
