At its 7th meeting, the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg Central Europe 2021-2027 Programme approved 47 transnational cooperation projects under the 2nd call for proposals, with a budget of EUR 76 million available under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). 48 project partners from Slovenia are involved in 32 projects, including 3 lead partners. This brings the total number of projects in the frame of the first two calls for proposals supported under the Interreg Central Europe 2021-2027 Programme to 100.
For the second call for proposals, which was open from 22 March to 17 May 2023, 280 applications were submitted. 47 project proposals were selected for funding. Due to the large number of high-quality proposals, the original call budget of EUR 60 million was increased by EUR 16 million of ERDF support.
