Travelling Office stops in Ljubljana

On 11 September, the EU Funds Travelling Office stopped in the Osrednjeslovenska region. An excellent debate took place in front of a packed auditorium at the Town Hall.

Mag. Lilijana Madjar, Director of the Regional Development Agency LUR, first presented the challenges and objectives of the Ljubljana Urban Region. The following speakers presented the opportunities for EU co-financing:

  • Andreja Jenko, Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development: European Cohesion Policy Opportunities 2021-2027,
  • Alenka Marovt Novak, Acting Director of the Directorate for Development Funds, Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport: Current and announced calls for proposals,
  • Martina Slapšak and Marjeta Jerič, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food: Opportunities of the Common Agricultural Policy,
  • Simona Brešćanski, Ministry of the Interior: Presentation of AMIF, ISF and BMVI funds and opportunities.

Dejan Marinčič, PONI LUR Project Manager, and project participant Nuša Marinc (Kozmetika NANU) presented an example of best practice – the PONI project An entrepreneurial approach to challenges, supported by EU funds which helped us realise many success stories.

The opening address was given by mag. Marko Koprivc, State Secretary at the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development.
