VIRIDI conference: Opportunities of cross-border cooperation
The VIRIDI conference, which took place on 20 March 2025 at the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together leading experts, businesses and decision-makers from Austria and Slovenia to discuss sustainable business models in circular economy. The conference also put spotlight on the winners of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Week (VIRIDIthon), i.e. projects promoting innovative and successful approaches to green value chains.
“VIRIDI shows how knowledge transfer and sustainable digital solutions can help use resources more efficiently and support companies on their journey towards a circular economy,” said Meinrad Höfferer, Director of the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “Cross-border cooperation initiatives can help bring circular economy into action.”
Interreg project VIRIDI provides targeted support to small and medium-sized enterprises in tackling challenges together and developing sustainable, future-proof business models.
