Ljubljana, 30 July 2025 – The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved European funding for the Call for Proposals for EUREKA Incentives 2025-2029.The European Regional Development Fund will contribute €8.9 million to the Call for Proposals.
The purpose of the call for proposals is to encourage companies operating in the Republic of Slovenia to participate actively and fully in Eureka projects, an international programme that promotes development and innovation in all areas of technology.
The aim of the call is to support R&D projects by companies that will result in a new or improved product, service or process that will be launched on the market no later than 12 months after the completion of the project.
Only projects that fall within the priority areas of application as defined by the Slovenian Strategy for Sustainable Smart Specialisation (S5) will be eligible for co-funding.
For the call for tenders with a total value of €11,450,000, the European Regional Development Fund will contribute €8,930,282.12 in EU funding.
The call for proposals will be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia by the Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia (ARIS) on Friday, 1 August 2025.
