The main objective of the project is to involve employees in further vocational training and education programmes. By participating in the verification and certification of national vocational qualifications, the aim is to improve employees’ professional competencies and thus reduce the mismatch between their skills and the actual needs of the labour market. The project represents an important step towards lifelong learning and adapting the workforce to rapid changes in the economy and society.

The project is being implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027 and is supported by the European Social Fund Plus.

The total value of the project is €20 million. The European Union contribution from the European Social Fund Plus stands at €13 million, with the corresponding national public contribution from the state budget amounting to €6.6 million.
