Ljubljana, 16 January 2026 – The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has approved EU funds for the project Agreement on the development of the region: Regional Mobility Centre Pomurje. The €263,300 project will receive €223,800 from the European Union’s Cohesion Fund.

The project will support the establishment and operation of the regional mobility centre Pomurje . The mission of the centre will be to oversee the development and management of transport in the Pomurje region. As such, it will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and implementation of regional projects among municipalities. It will also foster the collaboration between regional actors and the relevant national authorities in achieving their common transport policy goals. The beneficiary of financial contribution to the project will be the Institute for Tourism and Development Lendava.
The main objectives of the project:
The project will be implemented in the framework of Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027, under priority Sustainable (cross-)regional mobility and connectivity. It will be co-financed by the Cohesion Fund.
The €263,250 project will receive €223,762.50 from the European Union’s Cohesion Fund.
