The project aims to establish a creative incubator at the TPC Lucija trade and business centre, as well as a computer classroom (laboratory) at the Pietro Coppo Izola Secondary School. The computer classroom will complement and enrich the school’s programmes for preparing students for a career as a Computer Operator and Computer Technician. Once the incubator and classroom are set up, a series of activities will be conducted for young people, such as a competition for the most innovative idea in the field of creativity. The finalists of the competition will be included, free of charge, in the creative incubator, where they will receive training (Coastal Italian Self-Governing National Community) and tutoring (Piran Centre). An entrepreneurship course will be organised for entrepreneurs or potential entrepreneurs belonging to the Italian national community (Coastal Italian Self-Governing National Community) with the aim of opening at least two new businesses in the local area. The investment in the Pietro Coppo Izola Secondary School will ensure the preservation of the computer teacher position, while the creation and operation of an incubator will also facilitate the preservation of this position. Once the operation is completed, the Italian Union will ensure that the creative incubator remains operational and is available to others.
