Since its completion, the Intergenerational Urban Park in the centre of Podlehnik has been a popular gathering place for families – a spot for young children to play, for teenagers to socialise, and for older adults to relax while taking a stroll. The playground equipment, set in a pleasant environment, allows for a variety of activities. Younger children develop their motor skills and improve their coordination on the playground equipment and play freely on the grass. Slightly older children can compete with their parents on the climbing wall or play soccer or basketball. Numerous benches provide places to sit and socialise or to read books from the nearby book kiosk.
