The project aims to establish effective energy management and increase energy efficiency. This will reduce energy costs and facility maintenance and management costs. The project will also reduce greenhouse gas emissions and particulate matter emissions. This will also create better conditions (e.g. thermal comfort) for users (employees, students, children and others).
The aim is to implement the selected measures for the energy renovation of the Stane Žagar Lipnica-Radovljica Primary School (namely the connected building of the new and old segments and the big gym) and to implement other soft measures to improve the energy efficiency of the building, to reduce costs and the negative impacts on the environment. The following measures will be implemented: insulating the external walls and the walls facing the colder attic, thermally insulating the attic, replacing worn-out joinery, installing a biomass-fired boiler, replacing the existing lighting with more energy-efficient lighting, and installing a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. This will bring the following results:
– a reduction in final energy consumption of 319,592.00 kWh per year,
– an increase in energy production from renewable energy sources of 118,052.00 kWh,
– a reduction in CO2 emissions of 121.72 metric tons of CO2 equivalent per year.
Hi, my name is EMA, how can I help you?
