Slovenian Business Point (SPOT system), with its comprehensive and free range of government support services, operates on four levels, effectively bringing together institutions that offer assistance, information, and advice to companies and other business entities. The SPOT Portal – Slovenian Business Point has become an indispensable tool in day-to-day business operations. Over the past two decades, numerous procedures have been fully digitised, significantly saving time and shifting the priorities of entrepreneurs.
SPOT Registration, the second level of the system, consists of a nationwide network of more than 100 physical registration points offering free support to businesses. At these points, users can, with the assistance of a representative, carry out all procedures within the SPOT portal, receiving free guidance on business registration, deregistration, status changes, and other government-related procedures
The third level of the SPOT system consists of 12 regional centres SPOT Consulting, where the SPIRIT Slovenia Public Agency, through its business advisors and mentors, offers a wide range of free support services and expert assistance in various fields and at all stages of business development. Thus, in addition to the other services mentioned above, users can obtain key business information and a supportive environment for their business all in one place.
The fourth level of the SPOT system is the Slovenian national business point SPOT Global +, which, under the auspices of the SPIRIT Slovenia Public Agency, provides state-of-the-art services for domestic exporters and foreign investors. With its diverse and free services, it contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the support environment, promotes the establishment and operation of businesses, and enhances the international competitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
According to the European Commission, “SPOT Global+, under the auspices of SPIRIT Slovenia, successfully utilises EU funds to support small and medium-sized enterprises in entering foreign markets. The system offers free services, consulting, and connections with international partners, enabling companies to become more competitive in the European market.”
