EU funds post-2027

Shaping the post-2027 Cohesion Policy

We live in dynamic times, which impact also Cohesion Policy. In the post-2027 period, Cohesion Policy will continue to focus on reducing regional disparities in the EU and improving the quality of life of its citizens. Our main objective remains clear: to ensure that all citizens, regardless of where they live, have the same opportunities to realise their potential and that no one is left behind.

The discussion on the future of Cohesion Policy beyond 2027 is already underway across the European Union. The Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, responsible for the implementation of Cohesion Policy and Territorial Cooperation, has begun gathering opinions, proposals and comments to cooperate with various stakeholders and, based on its own experience, shape the future Cohesion Policy and adapt to the new challenges after 2027.

We have started organising public consultations to build a broad consensus and develop positions that reflect the needs and wishes of everyone at the local, regional and national levels. The aim of these consultations is to prepare for a successful implementation of Cohesion Policy post-2027 and to address more effectively the specific challenges and needs of all regions and citizens.
